Football camp in Nador, Morocco
The Hahn Air Foundation in cooperation with SC Hessen Dreieich organized a football camp for underprivileged children and youngsters in Nador, Morocco. Around 300 children were able to forget their worries for a week and devote themselves to their passion: sports. Youssef Mokthari, the former professional soccer player, was responsible for managing this project. Together with 16 other coaches, he looked after and supported the participants.
In different groups the children took part in exercises and had time for fun and games in addition to the training. The camp also provided tracksuits and lunch.
The children will be divided into groups, one in the morning from 9 am to 11 am and another in the evening from 6 pm to 8 pm.
“The whole project was a very nice thing and a huge success,” reports Youssef Mokthari. “I was very delighted to see so many happy children. Since the camp took place during the school holidays in Nador, many more children could have been inspired by this project. I hope that in the future we will be able to organize many more such projects worldwide, because sport unites us and makes the children happy.”
